Bio wine
No one can do any better, then nature does itself!
The idea was born in 1997 by buying a small wine yard to produce Bio wine. We found the wine yard in Großriednthal close to Kirchberg am Wagram, Lower Austria. So what’s the difference between an organic and conventional winegrowing? We really try to encourage the humus-structure to keep the soil alive. That means that the grapes are not charged by herbicides or other chemicals. Only plant tonics like herb statements, seaweeds extracts, whey products or homeopathic preparations are allowed. It turns out that you can taste the location of bio wines more then with other wines. These wines are often more multilayered, beneficial and longer storable. We made some of our wines sweeter. The sweetness comes only from the fruit sugar since the fermentation was interrupted. These wines are very fruity, with a flowery bouquet and a round departure, an experience for the palate.
